Our Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention course is an online resource designed to enhance individuals' understanding of identifying potential instances of workplace harassment and/or violence. It provides guidance on how such incidents can be averted and offers practical steps for addressing occurrences in various work environments.
The course facilitates participants to understand and define workplace harassment and violence in the context of the Alberta OH&S Act. It outlines both system and personal security protocols for preventing workplace violence and provides strategies for managing "different," "difficult," and "dangerous" individuals. The course also covers the process of recovery from workplace harassment and violence.

Upon successful completion of this digital course, a certificate of completion will be accessible for download and print. It is advised that this Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention course is retaken every 3 years from the completion date indicated on the certificate.
