This is in line with requirements of OSHA’s HAZWOPER regulation (29 CFR 1910.120). The course also covers the diverse training needs of employees, based on their specific interactions with hazardous materials within their roles.
The HAZWOPER: Confined Space Entry online course covers the following topics:
- Definitions of confined spaces
- Hazards encountered in confined spaces
- OSHA’s Permit-Space Entry Program
- Duties and responsibilities of the entry team
- Atmospheric testing
- Protecting entrants in hazardous atmospheres
- The use of lifelines in rescue operations

Estimated time to complete: 30 minutes
Quizzes conducted during this online course aim to reinforce the lessons taught. To pass this course, a score of 80% is necessary. Participants have up to three attempts to secure the pass mark. To aid in understanding and knowledge retention, a comprehensive student manual is available for download and printing.
Upon successful completion of this HAZWOPER: Confined Space Entry online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
