The North American Cargo Securement Program online course, aims to elucidate the basic principles and overall requirements of cargo securement, following the National Safety Code for Motor Carriers (Standard 10). After completion of the North American Cargo Securement course, learners should have a comprehensive understanding of the cargo securement standard, obligations of carriers and drivers, and the general requirements of cargo securement, including the securement system, minimum strength requirements, tiedowns and edge protectors, and cargo placement.

This online North American Cargo Securement Program includes testing designed to reinforce the information presented. A score of 80% must be achieved to pass this course. The course can be taken up to three times in order to achieve the pass mark.
On successful completion of this online program, a certificate of completion can be downloaded and printed. This certificate remains valid for 3 years from the completion date printed on the certificate unless otherwise specified by an employer, legislation, or other authority.
