SCBA Respirators (OSHA)

This OSHA-sanctioned safety education course is designed for workers who operate self-contained breathing apparatuses. The curriculum covers equipment knowledge, safe handling practices, and rescue operations. The course fulfills the theoretical requirements for occupational safety education and comes with a skill checklist for employers to conduct a practical evaluation. Completion of the course allows trainees to download and print a certificate or wallet card as proof of completing SCBA training. It's crucial to remember that only an employer can certify an employee. Certification regulations may vary by state or province. Please verify local standards for any additional occupational training prerequisites.

Our SCBA Respirators (OSHA) training program adheres to regulations, and our online format satisfies classroom training prerequisites.
Each module includes understanding and inspecting equipment, safe operational practices, and general rescue methods related to SCBA.

Spread throughout the course are practice quiz questions to prepare for the final written test included in the curriculum. In addition to the written test, this course also provides a checklist for employers to use when conducting a practical exam as required by OSHA.

Estimated Training Duration: As learning and progression rates vary among individuals, the time spent on this training can differ. However, it’s estimated that the SCBA Respirators (OSHA) training will take approximately 1 hour.
