It provides employees with insights into the spread of infections and the measures they can take to ensure their protection, as well as the safety of others, from infectious risks in their work settings.
Infectious risks, although often not visible to our eyes, can pose significant threats to our well-being. Such hazards can exist in any workplace setting. Recognizing and controlling these risks is a shared responsibility of employers, supervisors, and employees. It requires the same level of commitment as dealing with other health and safety hazards in the workplace.
