The course elucidates the previous Workplace Hazardous Material Information System details, the impact of GHS on WHMIS, and the new requirements introduced. By the completion of this in-depth course, you should have a thorough understanding of the interrelation between the WHMIS and GHS systems, occupational health and safety regulations, the objectives of WHMIS and GHS, the main features of both systems, the roles of employers, employees, and product suppliers, ways to manage chemical hazards, and related documentation and labelling.

Testing conducted in this online course is devised to reinforce the information imparted. A score of 80% is required to pass this course. The course can be attempted three times to achieve the pass mark.
Upon successful conclusion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing. This certificate remains valid for 3 years from the date of completion printed on the certificate unless otherwise specified by an employer, legislation, or other authority.
