Current regulations necessitate pre-trips and drivers are held accountable for any defects identified on their units. The vehicle inspection knowledge imparted through this online ‘Daily Pre-Trip Inspection Straight Truck Program’ is aimed at enhancing road safety for truck drivers and others sharing the road.
This curriculum is the brainchild of Dr. Randy Flemmer who boasts over three decades of expertise in driver education and fleet safety.
The online ‘Daily Pre-Trip Inspections for Straight Trucks’ course covers the following topics:
- Introduction and Pre-Trip Facts.
- Under the Hood Inspection.
- The Walk Around Inspection.
- Air Brake Pre-Trip Inspection.
- Post Trip Inspection.
Roughly 1 hour
Assessments throughout this online course are designed to reinforce the material taught. A score of 80% is required to earn a certificate of completion. If the pass mark is not achieved, participants can retake the course twice. A comprehensive student manual, which can be printed, is available as a resource for future reference and knowledge retention.
Upon successful completion of the ‘Daily Pre-Trip Inspection Straight Truck Program’, an online certificate of completion can be downloaded and printed.
