This Boom Lift Safety course equips workers with the knowledge they need to operate boom lifts safely and responsibly. Often called cherry pickers or man lifts, these machines allow workers to reach elevated or restricted spaces but require careful attention to controls, mechanical functions, and surrounding hazards. The course introduces essential safety principles that help operators reduce risks before and during use. 

Participants will review the purpose and classifications of MEWPs, study the major parts of a boom lift, and learn how to carry out effective pre-use checks. The training also highlights personal protective equipment requirements and operational habits that promote safer worksites. Interactive questions are included throughout, and learners finish with a final exam to assess comprehension.

Note minimale requise 

To earn certification, a minimum score of 80% is required. Learners may attempt the exam up to three times, helping reinforce key boom lift safety knowledge.
