Snowplow (OSHA)

This Snowplow (OSHA) course provides safety training in adherence to OSHA standards for individuals operating snowplows. The areas of focus include equipment anatomy and pre-shift inspections, safe operations during preparation and snow removal, and recognition of common hazards. This course satisfies the classroom instruction requirement for occupational safety training. Additionally, it provides a proficiency checklist for employers to use for practical evaluation. Successful trainees will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card as proof of completion of Snowplow training. NOTE: Only an employer can designate an employee as certified. Certification requirements can differ based on the state or province. Ensure to check local standards for any additional training requirements in occupational safety.

APERÇU DU COURS

The Snowplow training course is compliant with regulations, and our online version meets the benchmark for classroom training requirements. The course content includes in-depth sections on equipment anatomy and components, safe operations, common hazards, and more. In this training, you will gain knowledge about the basic anatomy and components of dump-truck-mounted snowplows. The course also emphasizes the significance of pre-shift inspections and guides you on what to look out for during these inspections.
