Powered industrial trucks like forklifts, motorized pallet jacks, tuggers, tow motors and other powered equipment are utilized daily to elevate and transport equipment or materials. These trucks, unfortunately, contribute to thousands of accidents and injuries every year, some even leading to loss of life. It’s not enough to know how to operate a powered industrial truck; it is vital to be trained and tested to ensure safe operation. The Powered Industrial Trucks (Bundle) course begins with Module 1, which provides an introduction to powered industrial trucks and how to operate them safely. Module 2 delves into pre-use inspections, upkeep, and refueling/recharging procedures. Module 3 discusses load handling and stability.
