The Alberta Online course on Health and Safety Committees and Representatives provides a comprehensive understanding of the Alberta OHS Act, Code, and Regulation. It offers participants an in-depth look into crucial processes like hazard assessment and control, worksite inspections, incident investigations, and conducting effective JHSMS meetings. The course sheds light on the specific roles of employer and worker co-chairs, committee members, and representatives within joint health and safety management systems. It caters to diverse workplaces with multiple employers, both unionized and non-union, and prime contractors. This course was conceived and developed by AMTA.
