Gas Monitor Competence Training – BW Ultra with VOC Gas Monitor

This course fulfills the OSHA 1910.146(h)(2) requirement for understanding the operation of the BW Ultra VOC gas monitor. This course is essential as the OSHA Confined Space Entry curriculum does not cover this vital information. This course also offers a refresher on the hazards of confined space entry.

Gas Monitor Competence Training – BW Ultra with VOC Gas Monitor

DISCLAIMER

This program is an add-on to, not a replacement for, the operating manual that accompanied your product. Please read the manual thoroughly before using the instrument. The product will function as intended only if used and maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions. If not, it might fail, and those who depend on the product for their safety could suffer severe personal injury or death.

COURSE OVERVIEW

The Gas Monitor Competence Training is a requirement, not a luxury, for the simple reason that the gas detector – the only piece of equipment the worker’s life hinges on – is NOT INCLUDED in OSHA Confined Space Entry curriculum. OSHA courses alone leave workers ill-equipped to safely and confidently operate their gas detectors. This course is tailored to your specific monitor and offers what you won’t find in manuals or YouTube videos. The Gas Monitor Competence Training bridges the gap between being “compliant” and being “safe,” combining elements of a confined space refresher with the features of the gas monitors that are most beneficial to the workers, thereby aligning more effectively with 1910.146(h)(2).
