In the First Aid – Musculoskeletal Injuries course, you will learn how to respond appropriately to suspected musculoskeletal injuries, such as sprains, strains, fractures, dislocations of joints, concussions, and injuries to the brain, neck, and spine.

By the end of the First Aid – Musculoskeletal Injuries course, you should be well-equipped to:

• Recognize common extremity injuries and elucidate the primary response steps to a casualty with a fracture, sprain, or dislocation
• Determine the possibility of a back, neck, or head injury in a victim
• Outline the initial steps to be taken for a person who is suspected to have a back, neck, or head injury

Estimated time of completion is 20 minutes

Assessments conducted during this online course aim to bolster the information given. A score of 80% is required to earn a certificate of completion. Learners have the option to retake the course twice if the pass mark is not met.
