This safety training course, tailored to CANADA's standards, is devised for individuals operating truck-mounted forklifts. The training encompasses topics such as equipment anatomy, ensuring stability, personal safety measures, understanding your machinery, and familiarizing with the worksite. Meeting occupational safety training's classroom requirements, this course also incorporates a proficiency checklist for employers to conduct practical evaluations. Upon completion, participants will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card, marking their successful completion of the truck-mounted forklift training. NOTE: Certification can only be designated by an employer. Certification prerequisites may vary by state or province. Always consult local standards for any additional occupational training requirements."

APERÇU DU COURS

Our Truck-Mounted Forklift (CAN) Safety Training course is designed to comply with OSHA standards, and our online version satisfies OSHA’s classroom training prerequisites.

Course Content: Each session includes the following components:

  • Anatomie
    • External Inspections
    • Internal Inspections
  • Stabilité
  • Personal Safety
  • Understanding Your Machine
  • Worksite Familiarization

This training module incorporates periodic quiz questions to prepare participants for the final written exam that comes with the course. Besides the written exam, this course also provides employers with a checklist for conducting a practical exam, as mandated by OSHA.

Estimated Duration: Considering individual learning speed variations, the total time spent on this training will differ among participants. Nonetheless, the typical duration for this training is approximately 2 –2.5 hours.

CEUs:

  • Participants can earn 0.2 CEUs upon course completion.
  • To earn CEUs, participants must successfully complete the course and pass the final exam with a minimum score of 80%.

While it’s crucial to familiarize yourself with all other pertinent federal, state, and local standards, this training adheres to the following OSHA standards for Sit-Down Forklifts:

  • CAN/CSA-B335-04 – Lift Truck Safety Standard
  • CAN/CSA-B335-94 – Lift Truck Operator Training
  • CAN/CSA-B352.0-09 – ROPS, FOPS
