The Water Truck (OSHA) course is a safety training program that complies with OSHA regulations, specifically designed for water truck operators. After course completion, participants can download and print a certification or a wallet card as evidence of their Water Truck (OSHA) training completion. However, note that only an employer can designate an employee as certified. Certification requirements can differ depending on the state or province. The Water Truck (OSHA) course is designed to provide comprehensive, regulatory compliant training. The online version of the course fulfills the necessary classroom training requirements. The course content includes sections on the anatomy of water trucks, principles of stability, safe operational procedures, and potential hazards. In this course, we will explore the various components of a water truck and their functions. We will discuss the critical elements of a pre-shift inspection and its role in ensuring safe operations. We will also delve into the principles of stability to help operators prevent rollovers. Additionally, we will cover safe operation procedures, such as filling the tank, deploying the spray, traveling with a full tank, and operating the hose. The course will also provide information on the required PPE operators should wear. Lastly, we will identify common hazards related to water truck operations and ways to mitigate them.

Though it is still necessary for you to acquaint yourself with all other applicable federal, state, and local standards, this training includes the following laws and regulations:
