Our comprehensive, hands-on course, Walking and Working Surfaces in Healthcare Environments – A Comprehensive Guide for Office and Facilities Staff, delves into the possible risks associated with diverse walking surfaces that employees may encounter in their day-to-day work, offering vital knowledge to shield themselves from injury. Whether we are standing, walking or climbing, we rely on the surfaces we move on to provide the necessary support to position ourselves correctly, utilize our muscles effectively, maintain our balance…and ensure our work is carried out safely. Yet, slips, trips and falls account for 20% of disabling work-related injuries, and numerous fatalities each year.

Fortunately, the majority of these accidents are avoidable.
