Our web-based Vehicle & Roadside Inspections training is aimed at educating commercial vehicle operators on the critical nature of vehicle and roadside inspections, and the elements that drivers or enforcement officers will scrutinize during these inspections.
Today, there are in excess of 8 million commercial vehicles registered and actively operating on our roads. To ensure safety, law enforcement officials perform well over 2 million inspections annually.
Despite these efforts, accidents involving large trucks still happen, often with devastating results. As a response, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has initiated programs like CSA 2010 to hold drivers and trucking companies more accountable for maintaining a safe fleet.
