Aligns with the WorkSafeBC Act and Regulation for the compulsory and entitled training.

This course, “Training for Joint Health and Safety Committee Members In BC”, is a prerequisite for workplaces with a workforce of over 20 individuals. It is perfectly suited for members of the joint health and safety committee, employers, managers, supervisors, and those in roles of health and safety administrators or HSE professionals.

Our course satisfies the WorkSafeBC Compulsory Training requirements of 8-hours OHSR 3.27

• Knowing the Rules.
• Clarifying your role.
• Extending your knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety.
• Staying Organized.
• What are hazards, and Risks.
• Why be concerned with Risk Tolerance.
• How to conduct a workplace inspection.
• When and how to conduct a workplace investigation,
• Terms of reference, Meeting Agendas and minutes, and
• Raising our game, improving for tomorrow.

Approximately 120 minutes

Upon completion, a certificate will be provided.
