Presented as an OSHA-compliant curriculum, this safety training program is designed for scissor lift operators. The course encompasses aspects such as the anatomy and components of scissor lifts, principles of stability, safe operational procedures, and identification of common hazards. This program fulfills the classroom component for occupational safety training and includes a proficiency checklist for employers to conduct a practical assessment. Upon successful completion, students can download and print a certificate or wallet card as proof of completion of Scissor Lift training. Note: Certification can only be granted by an employer. The certification prerequisites may differ from state to state or province to province. Please review local standards for any further occupational training requirements.

APERÇU DU COURS

Our Scissor Lift – Operator Safety (OSHA) Training course complies with regulations, and the online format meets classroom training requirements. The course delves into areas such as anatomy, stability, operations, hazards, and more related to Scissor Lifts.

Intermittent practice quiz questions are integrated throughout the course to prepare students for the final written examination. Alongside the written exam, the course provides an employer checklist for conducting a practical exam.

While it’s imperative to familiarize yourself with all other relevant federal, state, provincial, territorial, and local standards, this training includes the following standards for Scissor Lifts:

· OSH ACT 1970 

· 1910 Subpart F – Powered Platforms, Man lifts, Vehicle Mounted Work Platforms

· 1910.29 – Manually Propelled Mobile Ladder Stands and Scaffolds (Towers)

· 1910.67 – Vehicle Mounted Elevating and Rotating Work Platforms

· 1910.333 – Selection and Use of Work Practices Shipyards  

· 1926.21 – Safety Training and Education

· 1926.451 – General Requirements

· 1926.452 – Additional Requirements to Specific Types of Scaffolds

· 1926.453 – Scissor Lifts

· 1926.454 – Training Requirements

· 1926.501, 502 – Duty to have Fall Protection

· 1926.556 – Scissor Lifts
