Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) General (OSHA)

The Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) General safety training course is designed in compliance with OSHA standards. The online version of the course meets OSHA’s classroom training mandate. The course is segmented into sections that cover anatomy, maintenance and inspections, principles of stability, safe operations, and common hazards related to Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) operations.

This course incorporates intermittent practice quiz questions to help prepare for the final written exam at the end of the course. Besides the written exam, we also provide a checklist for employers to use while administering a practical exam as mandated by standards and regulations.

Estimated Training Duration: The duration of the training can vary as everyone learns and progresses at different paces. However, it is estimated that this training will take about 1.5-2 hours to complete.
