Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Appropriately fit, upkeep, and utilize personal protective equipment
- Perform a thorough hazard assessment of the workplace and adhere to guidelines for PPE selection
- Avert eye injuries by identifying and mitigating potential workplace hazards and by opting for suitable eye protection devices
- Evade foot injuries by comprehending and mitigating potential workplace hazards and by selecting appropriate foot safety gear
- Prevent head injuries by being vigilant of overhead hazards and choosing the right type of helmet for the task
- Eye and face protection

- Hand and foot protection
- Respiratory protection
- Hearing conservation
Environ 60 minutes
Testing conducted throughout this online “Personal Protective Equipment: Safe at Work” course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved on the first attempt.
Upon completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
