Personal Protective Equipment (Bundle)

APERÇU DU COURS

Our Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) bundle is a comprehensive, ten-part training course. The first part serves as an introduction to the training suite, highlighting the importance of PPE in preventing head injuries, which can be life-threatening. It underlines the need for awareness of potential dangers and the importance of wearing suitable head protection. The second part delves into the basic principles of head protection and offers guidance on choosing the correct category of protection. The third part of this Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training course emphasizes the heightened risk of eye and face injuries when you neglect to wear PPE or fail to choose the right protection for the potential workplace hazards. It also provides guidance on selecting eye and face protection that is specific to the hazard. The fourth section of the course focuses on hand and arm protection and is a crucial resource for those whose job does not eliminate hand and arm hazards despite engineering, work practice, or administrative controls.

Continuing with the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training course, the fifth part educates you about body protection against specific hazards. The sixth part of the course poses a thought-provoking question – how would your work be affected if you suffered a foot injury? It emphasizes the importance of foot protection and examines various types of foot and leg protection. The seventh part of the training suite is about protecting one’s hearing from excessive noise exposure to avoid permanent damage. You will learn about different types of hearing protection and how to choose, wear, and maintain them. The eighth part of the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training suite focuses on respiratory protection, teaching you how to prevent hazardous materials from entering your body through ingestion, absorption, or inhalation. The ninth part of the course covers safety precautions around electricity, including the use of the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). It explores the types of electrical protective devices and their classes and ratings. The final part of the course advises on the selection of the appropriate level of protection based on the severity of the hazard and discusses PPE selection factors and levels of protection.
