Grinders, known for their versatility in cutting, grinding, and polishing various materials such as iron, copper, brick, tile, concrete, and stone, are invaluable power tools commonly found in most work environments. However, the improper or reckless use of these high-speed tools can result in severe injuries or even fatal accidents. This course aims to impart comprehensive knowledge about the safe operation of angle and bench grinders.
Our Grinder Training course will be organized into four essential sections:Â Â
Chapter 1: Exploring Angle Grinders Â
Chapter 2: Understanding Bench GrindersÂ
Chapter 3: Mitigating Risks and Adopting Best Practices
Chapter 4: Recap and ReviewÂ
The course covers the following topics:
Understanding the components of angle and bench grinders Â
Learning the basic operation of grinders and discerning the functional differences between angle and bench typesÂ
Mastering the correct usage and familiarizing oneself with accurate inspection and maintenance procedures for both angle and bench grinders Â
Identifying common hazards associated with grinder operation Â
Learning to minimize the risk factors contributing to grinder-related accidentsÂ
Integrating the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and best safety practices to prevent injuries and health issuesÂ

Minimum score required to pass: 80%
Upon successful completion, a certificate will be issued.
