This module elucidates how routine stress can cause distracted driving, impaired judgement, and physical dysfunction such as reduced peripheral vision or loss of muscle coordination. It further instructs drivers on how to manage stress effectively to ensure safety while driving.

Upon successful completion of the ‘Effects of Stress on Driving’ course, participants will be able to:

  • Detail both mental and physical alterations brought about by stress
  • Determine the obvious signs that stress is negatively impacting your driving
  • Develop a personal strategy and action plan for stress management

PASS MARK

Assessments will be conducted throughout ‘Effects of Stress on Driving’ course. The questions are designed to reinforce the information imparted. To secure a Certificate of Completion, a score of 80% is required. Each participant has the option to retake the course twice if the pass mark has not been achieved in the initial attempt.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will have the ability to download and print a digital certificate of completion.
