In our DOT HAZMAT General Awareness course, we aim to provide crucial knowledge to employees who deal with hazardous substances. The primary objective is to enhance their awareness about situations where they might come across hazardous chemicals and the risks that these chemicals pose. This course has been designed keeping in mind the Department of Transportation’s HAZMAT training regulation on the Handling and Transporting of Hazardous Materials. The DOT HAZMAT General Awareness course by MARCOM offers necessary information to comply with the regulation’s General Awareness training requirement. (This course can be utilized as a standalone course or in conjunction with MARCOM’s DOT HAZMAT Safety Training Interactive CD-ROM Course). The DOT HAZMAT General Awareness course encompasses a range of topics including the regulations themselves, hazardous materials, their definitions and classes, hazard communication, hazard indicators like labels, shipping papers and placards, locations where hazardous materials might be encountered, packaging and shipping, transportation (trucks, ships, rail, etc.), storage, security concerns and more. With the help of an effective blend of audio, comprehensive video, text and vibrant graphics, this course offers the most economical safety and regulatory compliance training available in today’s market.

The manual is a valuable resource for future reference and knowledge retention.
Upon successful completion of our online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
