This training aims to equip drivers with the skills to maintain focus on the road, identify distracted drivers, and manage situations involving such drivers.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, these distractions contribute to hundreds of thousands of injuries from road crashes annually. Distracted driving is not just a breach of law, but a threat to public safety.

This online course titled “Distracted Driving Prevention” aims to equip drivers with the skills to maintain attention on the road, recognize potential distractions, and handle situations involving distracted drivers.

Upon completion of the Distracted Driving Prevention course, participants should be able to:

• Identify common in-vehicle and external driving distractions
• Understand methods to prevent and manage distractions
• Recognize indications of distracted drivers
• Learn how to avert accidents caused by distracted driving
