Daily Journal

APERÇU DU COURS

This course, titled ‘Daily Journal,’ is an excellent resource for building a strong due diligence defense and effectively addressing coaching or disciplinary issues. The daily journal, also known as a notebook or daily logbook, is a key feature of this training.

The Daily Journal is crucial. Without any documentation demonstrating your commitment to due diligence in occupational health and safety law, it would be challenging to DEMONSTRATE your compliance.

Proficient note-taking is a vital skill to master, and commitment to this practice is essential. Numerous instances will arise where having a record of dialogues, meetings, or training workshops will be pivotal to your success as a supervisor.

While it’s not necessary to document absolutely everything, there are certain non-negotiables that must be documented, such as:

  • Coaching sessions
  • Task assignments and the associated safety measures
  • Significant dates
  • Disciplinary meetings
  • Supervisory team and safety meetings
  • Employee concerns requiring your attention, particularly safety-related ones
