In the current digital era, our professional and personal lives revolve around digital tools and applications. While these digital technologies offer numerous advantages, they also pose security risks. This Cyber Awareness Training course elaborates on the strategies to protect oneself while using digital devices.
Our Cyber Awareness Training course comprises five chapters. These chapters are:
- Chapter 1: Internet Safety
- Chapter 2: Safeguarding Accounts and Devices
- Chapter 3: Protection of Personal Information
- Chapter 4: Security Software and Solutions
- Chapter 5: Understanding IT Security Incidents
After completing all chapters, a final examination will be conducted to evaluate your knowledge.
À l'issue de ce cours, vous serez capable de :
- Understand the importance of separating personal and professional conduct and how to do it effectively
- Identify and safely deal with spam and malware attacks
- Create, manage, and maintain secure passwords for all your devices and accounts
- Understand and implement appropriate device security and work-from-home best practices
- Define personal information and its importance
- Understand the basic principles of the Personal Information Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulations
- Understand and implement some basic best practices for protecting personal information
- Understand how VPNs, antivirus software, and encryption can enhance the security of your devices, accounts, and personal information
- Define and understand the concept of an IT security incident
- Recognize and understand your responsibilities and your organization’s role in responding to IT security incidents
Environ 90 minutes
To successfully complete this Cyber Awareness Training course, you must achieve a score of 80%. If not achieved, you have the option to retake the course twice.
After successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
