As per the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), nearly two million construction employees face exposure to crystalline silica, an abundant mineral whose airborne dust can lead to severe health concerns if not properly regulated.

The Crystalline Silica for Construction Employees course is designed to augment workers’ knowledge about protecting themselves from the risks posed by crystalline silica dust. It provides a detailed overview of 29 CFR 1926.1153, the OSHA’s Respirable Crystalline Silica Rule for Construction.
