The work we do is important. Our work should be exciting and inspiring. When it is, we become more actively involved, find pleasure in our tasks, and our productivity increases. This makes work an interesting and enjoyable experience. While our supervisors and the company have a role in our work environment, we too can make a difference. There are various things we can do independently to ensure our work is stimulating and enjoyable. The Creating Great Work course is designed to guide you through this process. By helping you recognize what kind of work excites you, how to enhance the level of challenge in your work, and create a solid work-life balance, you’ll learn how to take control of your work situation and create a fulfilling and rewarding work experience.

After successful completion of the Creating Great Work course, you should be able to:

Identify what aspects of the company and its future excite you the most
Determine the steps you can take to enhance the level of challenge in your work
Analyze key experiences over the past two years to understand what you’ve learned
Define what an ideal work-life balance looks like for you
Discuss with your supervisor about the ideal level of challenge for you

Testing carried out throughout this online course is designed to reinforce the knowledge imparted. A score of 80% must be achieved to receive a completion certificate. Participants have the opportunity to retake the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved.
