Our Corrective Action Training: Emergency Equipment course is aimed at providing drivers with crucial remedial education on emergency equipment. The key focus of this course is to emphasize the need to have the right emergency equipment, conduct daily inspections of fire extinguishers, and ensure the correct number of reflective triangles or flares are available.

Upon completion of this Corrective Action Training: Emergency Equipment course, drivers will be able to:

  • Enumerate the necessary emergency equipment in every commercial vehicle.
  • Explain the key points to examine during daily fire extinguisher inspections.
  • Determine the correct amount of reflective triangles or flares required.

  • CMV’s must have 3 types of emergency equipment.
  • have emergency equipment in place and ready to use.
  • Make sure your fire extinguisher is accessible and ready.
  • Have warning devices ready.
  • Make sure spare fuses are available.
