The Caught-In/Between Hazards in Construction Environments course gives workers the knowledge they need to recognize and prevent some of the most serious job-site risks. Caught-in/between incidents happen when a worker is squeezed, trapped, or crushed between objects, machinery, or structural components. These events can lead to severe injuries or fatalities, making awareness and prevention critical.

As one of OSHA’s “Fatal Four” hazards, caught-in/between incidents remain a leading cause of construction-related deaths. This course helps learners understand how these hazards occur, how to identify unsafe conditions, and what steps to take to stay safe around heavy equipment, machinery, and unstable structures. Through visuals, demonstrations, and guided checks for understanding, workers gain practical skills they can apply immediately on the job site.

Note minimale requise
