Tow Truck (CAN)

This Canadian-approved safety instruction course is specifically designed for individuals operating tow trucks. The educational materials covered include sections on vehicle anatomy and pre-shift checks, safe procedures prior to and during towing, and common hazards. This course covers the theoretical section required for occupational safety training and also provides an evaluation checklist for employers to perform practical assessments. Upon successful completion, students will have the ability to download and print a certificate or wallet size card as proof of their Canada Tow Truck training. Please note: Certification designation is the prerogative of the employer and requirements may vary from state to state or province to province. We recommend checking local standards for any additional training requirements.

APERÇU DU COURS

Our Tow Truck (CAN) course is fully compliant with regulations, and the online version satisfies the theoretical training requirements. Each module includes sections on vehicle anatomy and pre-shift inspections, safe operating procedures, common hazards, and more. Throughout the course, we incorporate intermittent practice quizzes to prepare students for the final written examination. This course also provides an employer’s checklist for conducting a practical exam as mandated by OSHA.

It’s important to note that while this course covers a broad range of topics, you should still acquaint yourself with all other relevant federal, state, and local standards.
