This course aims to make drivers aware of their part in minimizing unassigned driving incidents, the right time to amend the record, and the significance of examining the record before submitting.

Upon finishing this Hours of Service Training Module 5: ELD Basics, drivers will have the ability to:

  • Elucidate when it’s mandatory for drivers to use an ELD
  • Recognize the five essentials needed in the cab while registering hours with an ELD
  • Detail how drivers can decrease unassigned drive time
