It's unfortunate that these powered industrial trucks become the cause of accidents and injuries in their thousands annually, some of which are fatal. To operate a powered industrial truck, it's not just about knowing how to use it, but also how to use it safely. That's why training and testing are crucial.

Powered industrial trucks like forklifts, motorized pallet jacks, tuggers, tow motors and other powered equipment are utilized daily to elevate and transport equipment or materials. These trucks, unfortunately, contribute to thousands of accidents and injuries every year, some even leading to loss of life. It’s not enough to know how to operate a powered industrial truck; it is vital to be trained and tested to ensure safe operation. The Powered Industrial Trucks (Bundle) course begins with Module 1, which provides an introduction to powered industrial trucks and how to operate them safely. Module 2 delves into pre-use inspections, upkeep, and refueling/recharging procedures. Module 3 discusses load handling and stability.

Testing carried out throughout this online course aims to reinforce the presented information. A passing score of 80% is required to complete the course successfully. The course can be attempted thrice to achieve the passing score. A comprehensive student manual is available as a printable resource. It’s a valuable tool to retain knowledge and for future reference.
