The Worker Health and Safety Awareness course provides an entry-level understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), complementing but not replacing any industry-specific, hazard-focused, or expertise-based training.
This training course, “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps”, brings workers up to speed on the OHSA, emphasizing the health and safety obligations and rights of workers, supervisors, and employers. It is a solid starting point for health and safety awareness in the workplace.
Workers can utilize this complimentary training program as one means of fulfilling the minimal training requirements stipulated by the Occupational Health and Safety Awareness and Training regulation.
The “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training can be accomplished through the workbook or the eLearning module.
Environ 60 minutes
Testing throughout this online course is aimed to reinforce the presented information. A perfect score of 100% is required to pass the course. Participants are allowed three attempts to achieve the pass mark. A comprehensive student manual, available for printing, serves as a handy resource for future reference and knowledge retention.
Upon successful completion of this online course, a completion certificate will be ready for download and printing.
