In the “Criticality Safety” course, we aim to impart essential knowledge about criticality concepts and terminologies. This will enable you to react appropriately to a criticality alarm, as well as correctly identify handling restrictions and labels related to fissionable material.

By successfully completing this course, you will gain a deeper understanding of:

  • The hazards associated with mishandling containers holding fissionable material and the importance of their labels in the context of Criticality Safety.
  • The appropriate preventive measures to avert an accidental criticality.
  • The necessary steps to minimize radiation exposure in the unfortunate event of an accidental criticality.
