COURSE OVERVIEW

Training on the prevention of workplace bullying, discrimination, harassment, and violence is integral to fostering a secure, respectful and productive work atmosphere in Canadian workplaces.  It not only ensures legal adherence but also cultivates a positive work culture, aids affected employees, augments productivity and safeguards the organization’s reputation.  The Workplace Bullying, Discrimination, Harassment and Violence Prevention – Canada course enables you and your organization to proactively counter and curb these detrimental behaviors and establish a more inclusive work environment for all employees.  

The aim of this course is to furnish information to help you identify workplace bullying, discrimination, harassment and violence, the ways to prevent it and the methods to shield yourself and others.  Such behaviors are unacceptable in the workplace or in society, and we all need to collaborate to prevent them.

This course clarifies the different forms of bullying, harassment and violence in the workplace and defines the roles of supervisors, including their statutory obligations as per Ontario Bills 132 and 168, and BC Bill 14.

ONLINE COURSE DURATION

PASS MARK

Assessment is conducted throughout the course. Test questions are formulated to reinforce the information provided and must be completed by each participant. A score of 80% is required to obtain a certificate of completion. Each participant is allowed to retake the course three times if the course pass mark is not achieved on the initial attempt. 

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

Participants who successfully pass the course will have the privilege to download and print an online certificate of completion through the learning management system.
