  • Describe the relationship between PIPEDA and PIPA
  • Grasp the 10 principles of PIPEDA
  • Recognize when PIPEDA regulates Alberta-based organizations
  • Differentiate between the various forms of consent
  • Understand an organization’s responsibilities when seeking consent
  • Comprehend an organization’s duties when storing personal data within Canada and outside of Canada
  • Know how to access or request a change to collected and stored personal information
  • Understand how PIPA governs the disclosure or use of personal information

A minimum score of 80% is required to successfully complete this online PIPA course. Participants have the option to retake the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved on the first attempt.
