SUJETS DU COURS

A massive number of dangerous goods are shipped on a day-to-day basis within Canada. As per Transport Canada’s stipulation, training is mandatory for all parties involved in the shipping, receiving, and transportation of dangerous goods.

By the conclusion of the course, the learners will be proficient in:

• Recognizing the risks associated with each class of dangerous goods.

• Understanding the hazards indicated by labels and placards.

• Knowing how to accurately fill out shipping documentation.

• Learning how to handle dangerous goods in a manner that avoids leaks and spills.

• Identifying the appropriate actions to take during an emergency.

DURÉE DU COURS EN LIGNE

Environ 75 minutes

The course concludes with an online final exam consisting of 15 multiple choice questions. To pass the exam, a score of 12/15 (80%) is required. Each question can only be answered once. The questions are randomly selected for each exam attempt from a pool of questions. Participants can retake the exam twice if they don’t pass on the first try. After two unsuccessful attempts, participants are encouraged to review the material before making their third and final attempt.

CERTIFICAT DE RÉALISATION

Upon successful completion of the course, a Certificate is awarded, valid for a period of 3 years.
