This course, “Preventing Workplace Harassment – Employees”, aims to address an essential aspect of the workplace: respect. This “Preventing Workplace Harassment for Employees” online course covers the following subjects:
- Explanation of laws that forbid workplace harassment.
- Identification of the legally protected classes.
- Elements of a robust anti-harassment policy.
- Definitions and examples of discrimination, harassment, and sexual harassment.
- Illustrations of quid pro quo and hostile work environment.
- Steps to take if you become aware of workplace harassment.
Approximately 45 Minutes
Testing throughout this online course, “Preventing Workplace Harassment for Employees”, is designed to reinforce the information delivered. To obtain a certificate of completion, a score of 80% is necessary. If the pass mark is not achieved on the first attempt, participants are allowed to retake the course twice. Course materials can be accessed online for printing.
