This course also emphasizes the importance of removing potentially fatal hazards through the correct application of lockout tagout procedures. In addition to this, the course covers the legal obligations related to equipment lockout and the potential repercussions of not adhering to these procedures. The integral part of the course is to facilitate the creation and upkeep of a documented workplace lockout tagout program. It is designed in alignment with recommendations from CSA standards Z462 – Workplace Electrical Safety and Z460-13 Control of Hazardous Energy – Lockout and Other Methods.

    Testing of knowledge is carried out throughout this course. Test questions are designed to reinforce the information conveyed during the course. Each participant must complete these. To receive a completion certificate, a score of 80% is required. If the pass mark is not achieved on the first attempt, participants can retake the course twice.

    CERTIFICAT DE RÉALISATION
    Upon successful completion of the course, participants can download and print a completion certificate via the learning management system.
    The certificate is valid for three years from the date of course completion.

    This course is designed to be compatible with most internet-capable devices with standard web browsing capabilities, including Apple’s iTouch, iPad, iPhone, as well as most other smartphones and tablets, including those with Android and Windows operating systems.
