This first aid fundamentals training online course helps learners take quick, confident action to reduce risk and protect lives. By the end of training, participants will understand how to recognize emergencies, safeguard themselves and others, and deliver appropriate care.<\/p>\n<p>This course prepares learners to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify medical emergencies and respond with assurance.<\/li>\n<li>Apply safe practices, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE).<\/li>\n<li>Conduct a primary assessment of airway, breathing, and circulation.<\/li>\n<li>Administer <strong>CPR<\/strong> and operate an <strong>AED<\/strong> effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Assist during <strong>choking response<\/strong> situations and manage severe bleeding.<\/li>\n<li>Provide care for seizures, asthma attacks, allergic reactions, strokes, and shock.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Recognize protections under Good Samaritan laws when giving aid.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Designed for both new operators and those needing refresher training, this program builds the skills and confidence required to handle boom lifts responsibly and reduce workplace risks.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\">Course Topics<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Scene Safety &amp; Protection (hazards, PPE, infection control)<\/li>\n<li>Primary Assessment: Airway, Breathing &amp; Circulation<\/li>\n<li>Emergency Action Steps &amp; Contacting EMS<\/li>\n<li><strong>CPR &amp; AED<\/strong> for Adults, Children, and Infants<\/li>\n<li><strong>Choking Response<\/strong> Techniques<\/li>\n<li>Bleeding Control &amp; Common Medical Emergencies (seizures, stroke, allergic reactions, shock, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Post-Emergency Support &amp; Self-Care<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"title-bar\">Online Course Duration<\/div>\n<p>Approximately 90 minutes (self-paced).<\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\">Pass Mark<\/div>\n<p>Learners must achieve a minimum score of 80% on the final exam.
