This system is in line with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS), a framework used by several countries globally.<\/p>\n<p>In December 2022, the Hazardous Products Regulations (HPR) underwent amendments, ushering in changes to the earlier WHMIS 2015. To facilitate a smooth transition, Health Canada provided a 3-year transition period. <b>By December 2025, all WHMIS users are required to adhere to the updated HPR.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The objective of this WHMIS course is to furnish you with a fundamental understanding of the system, inclusive of its general principles, worker safety measures, and notable updates.<\/p>\n<p>The WHMIS 2025 course is divided into five key chapters:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Chapter 1: Introduction to WHMIS<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Chapter 2: Recognizing Hazards and Classifying Products<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Chapter 3: Understanding Labels<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Chapter 4: Navigating Safety Data Sheets (SDS)<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Chapter 5: Workplace Education and Training Essentials<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The course includes interactive activities, self-evaluation questions, and a concluding examination.<\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><span style=\"font-size: 18.0px; float: none;\">COURSE TOPICS<\/span><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>What is WHMIS?<\/li>\n<li>WHMIS Updates<\/li>\n<li>Hazard Identification<\/li>\n<li>Product Classification<\/li>\n<li>Hazard Groups<\/li>\n<li>Pictograms<\/li>\n<li>Supplier Labels<\/li>\n<li>Workplace Labels<\/li>\n<li>Safety Data Sheets (SDS)<\/li>\n<li>Workplace Education and Training<\/li>\n<li>Employer Responsibilities<\/li>\n<li>Worker Responsibilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><span style=\"font-size: 18.0px; float: none;\">ONLINE COURSE DURATION<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px;\">Roughly 1 hour<\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><span style=\"font-size: 18.0px; float: none;\">PASS MARK<\/span><\/div>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px;\">Participants must score a minimum of 80% to successfully pass this course.
