Embark on an interactive exploration of fatigue and its effects on CMV drivers in our course titled ‘CMV Drivers – Fatigue and Its Effects’. This course delves into the causes of fatigue, the hazards of driving in a fatigued state, and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s “Hour of Service” regulations that tackle these issues. Essential skills for CMV drivers such as problem-solving, quick decision-making, and sound judgement can be seriously compromised by inadequate sleep. In fact, staying awake for 24 hours can impair your driving abilities as much as being legally intoxicated. Chronic sleep deprivation can lead to “fatigue”, further increasing the risk of accidents. This course covers the fundamentals of fatigue, various forms of fatigue and sleep disorders, the FMCSA Hours of Service regulation, and more. Employing a potent mix of audio, full-motion video, text, and vivid graphics, this course offers the most cost-effective safety and regulatory compliance training available today. The course material is logically structured for easy understanding and retention. <\/p>\n

The ‘CMV Drivers – Fatigue and Its Effects’ course provides critical knowledge about fatigue and its impact on driving for Commercial Motor Vehicle drivers. Upon course completion, drivers should be able to:

– Identify different sleep disorders and their symptoms.
