Each module includes sections on equipment anatomy, maintenance and inspections, safe operations and stability, common hazards, among others. <\/p>\n<p>Intermittent quiz questions are incorporated into the presentation to prepare for the concluding written exam included with the course. This course also provides employers with a checklist for conducting a practical exam as mandated by OSHA.<\/p>\n<p><b>Estimated Training Duration: <\/b>Given that learning pace fluctuates among individuals, the duration of this training may vary. The average estimated time for this Utility Vehicle (OSHA) training is between 1 and 1.5 hours.<\/p>\n<p><b>Intended Audience: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Employees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In conjunction with familiarizing yourself with all other relevant federal, state, and local standards, this training covers the following OSHA standards for utility vehicles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>29 CFR 1910.178 <\/b>\u2013 Powered Industrial Trucks<\/li>\n<li><b>ANSI\/ITSDF<span>\u00a0 <\/span>B56.8 <\/b>\u2013 Safety Standard for Personnel and Burden Carriers<\/li>\n<li><b>NFPA 505 <\/b>\u2013 Fire Safety Standard for Powered Industrial Trucks <\/li>\n<li><b>UL 583<\/b> \u2013 Safety Standard for Electric-Battery-Powered Industrial Trucks <\/li>\n<li><b>OSHA Act of 1970, 5(a)(1) <\/b>\u2013 General Duty Clause<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"title-bar\">    <span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\">COURSE TOPICS<\/span>    <\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">Course topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>    Anatomy and Inspection<\/li>\n<li>Safe Operations<\/li>\n<li>Hazards\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"title-bar\">    <span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\">ONLINE COURSE DURATION<\/span>    <\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">Roughly 90 minutes<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\">    <span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\">PASS MARK<\/span>    <\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">The course requires a passing score of 80% and you have up to 2 attempts to pass the test.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\">    <span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\">CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION<\/span>    <\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>On successful completion of the Utility Vehicle (OSHA) course, a certificate can be downloaded and printed.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This OSHA-endorsed safety training course is specially designed for operators of utility vehicles. Areas covered in this curriculum include vehicle anatomy and inspection, safe operation practices, and potential hazards. This course fulfills the classroom instruction component of occupational safety training. It includes a performance checklist that employers can use for practical evaluation. On completion, trainees can download and print a certificate or wallet card documenting their successful completion of the Utility Vehicle training. NOTE: Only employers can certify an employee. Certification prerequisites may vary by state or province. It is advised to review local standards for any further occupational training
