It includes sections on Disease Transmission, Disease Prevention, and more. During the course, we will examine the specific procedures and tasks necessary for protecting oneself and others from infectious diseases. Emphasis will be placed on the significance of personal hygiene and respiratory etiquette. We will explore the different modes of disease transmission and stress the need to interrupt the infection chain through correct cleaning and sanitation procedures, use of PPE, and precautions against disease-carrying insects.<\/p>\n<p>While this training covers a broad range of topics, it is essential to familiarize yourself with all other applicable federal, state, and local standards. The course covers essential topics like definitions of diseases, their transmission and infection, and steps to prevent their spread. This OSHA-compliant course satisfies the classroom training requirement for occupational safety and includes a proficiency checklist for employers to use for practical evaluation. Upon successful completion, participants will be able to download and print a completion certificate or wallet card for their Infectious Diseases training. Please note, only an employer can designate an employee as certified, and certification requirements may differ by state or province.
