Each module includes sections on safety protocols, preventive measures, potential hazards, and more.\u00a0<span>In this training, we will focus on <\/span><span>safe operations in work environments at risk of falling objects, such as <\/span><span>construction sites with scaffolding, cranes, heavy machinery, and ladders. Participants will <\/span><span>gain an understanding of the principles of gravity as they apply to falling objects and loads. The course will <\/span><span>explain how to mitigate falling object hazards using a hierarchy of <\/span><span>controls. Participants will learn how to utilize tool tethering and site controls to <\/span><span>prevent equipment from falling from heights. This course fulfills the classroom instruction component for workplace safety training and includes a skills assessment checklist that employers may use for practical evaluation. After completing the course, participants can download and print a certificate or wallet card showing evidence of their Falling Objects (CAN) training. IMPORTANT: Only an employer can officially certify an employee. Certification requirements may differ by region or state. Please consult local standards for further professional training
