The course comprises sections on various biological hazards including microorganisms, fungi, plants, insects, animals, etc. This course also features periodic practice quiz questions to help prepare for the final written examination included in the course. Alongside the written test, this course provides a checklist for employers to use for conducting a practical exam as stipulated by OSHA.<\/p>\n<p><b>Estimated Training Duration: <\/b>The duration of this training can vary as individuals learn and progress at different paces. However, the estimated time to complete this training is between 1.5 and 2 hours. <\/p>\n<p><b>Intended Audience: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Employees<\/li>\n<li>Supervisors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Although it is still necessary to acquaint yourself with any other relevant federal, state, and local standards, this training covers the following OSHA standards:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subsection J \u2013 General Environmental Controls<\/li>\n<li>OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subsection Z \u2013 Toxic and Hazardous Substances<\/li>\n<li>OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1200 \u2013 Hazard Communication<\/li>\n<li>OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 \u2013 Fit Testing Procedures<\/li>\n<li>OSHA 29 CFR 1910.141 \u2013 Sanitation<\/li>\n<li>OSHA 29 CFR 1910.151 \u2013 Medical and First Aid<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\">     <span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\">COURSE TOPICS<\/span>     <\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">Course topics:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">\n<li>Microorganisms<\/li>\n<li>Fungi<\/li>\n<li>Plants<\/li>\n<li>Insects<\/li>\n<li>Animals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"title-bar\">     <span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\">ONLINE COURSE DURATION<\/span>     <\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">Approximately 75 minutes<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\">     <span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\">PASS MARK<\/span><\/div>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">The minimum passing grade for this course is 80%. Upon finishing the course, trainees can download and print a certificate or wallet card to demonstrate their completion of the Biological Hazards training.
