The course, Driving Defensively for CDL\/Large Vehicle Drivers: The Basics, provides insights on how truck drivers can stay safe on the roads by defending themselves against other drivers and common driving hazards such as poor visibility, construction areas, and pedestrians. The essence of defensive driving is to always be alert for potential troubles. The idea is not to instigate problems, but rather to stay prepared against other drivers who might pose a risk with their reckless driving habits. Apart from other drivers, there are other elements that can pose a threat as well. <\/p>\n
